Permanent, Full time 35 hours

Salary: £34,850 (UK), £37,916 (London & surrounding counties)

Office based in Farringdon London, with flexible working options. Attendance in office will be required at least once per week.

Founded in 1997, GamCare is one of the leading providers of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.


The Role

We're looking for someone who has strong understanding of digital content development, digital marketing and a passion for creating engaging online experiences.   

The Senior Digital Comms Officer role is vitally important for the promotion of GamCare's support and services, in particular driving people to the National Gambling Helpline and promoting the use of our digital support tools. The key aim for this role is to ensure that those who want or need our help can access support easily.


About You

Passionate about creating excellent digital content, the work you do will drive engagement and conversion. You will be analytical and make decisions based on insight and data. You will proactively complete tasks and projects, gather information, work with internal and external stakeholders and use your initiative to act and make decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Creating excellent content and engagement across GamCare’s digital engagement channels (including website, social media, paid marketing and email)
  • Managing paid advertising media for GamCare’s support services including planning, execution, budget management and review
  • Creating seamless user journeys from the digital engagement channels to the helpline or support tools 
  • Interpreting analytics and creating reporting dashboards including measuring our digital engagement and output on a monthly and quarterly basis
