Training Lead – Women’s Pathway
Full time, Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2027 (with potential for extension to March 2028)
Salary: £29,479 [Nationwide]
Home-based, with some nationwide travel to deliver training sessions, learning events and attendance at two team development days per year (location within the UK).

Founded in 1997, GamCare is one of the leading providers of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. It operates the National Gambling Helpline, delivers free treatment services across multiple regions in Great Britain, and raises awareness about gambling harms through a variety of prevention-based programmes.
The Role
Join GamCare's Women's Pathway as a Training Lead, helping to improve awareness and understanding of women's experiences of gambling harm across the UK. You'll design and deliver engaging CPD-accredited training to professionals, volunteers, community organisations and women's groups, while building strong partnerships that increase awareness, early identification and access to support. This role combines training delivery, stakeholder engagement and content development to help ensure our programmes reach the women who need them most.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and engaging trainer who is passionate about empowering women and supporting behaviour change through high-quality learning experiences.
You will have experience designing and delivering training to a range of audiences and be confident adapting your approach to meet different learning needs. Importantly, you will bring experience of working directly with professionals and/or women's groups, ideally within community, support, recovery, health, social care or voluntary sector settings.
You will understand how to create inclusive and trauma-informed learning environments and be skilled at building relationships with both professional stakeholders and community-based organisations. Your facilitation, communication and organisational skills will enable you to deliver impactful training that increases awareness, builds confidence and improves pathways into support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging training and learning events to professionals, community groups and women.
- Develop and maintain partnerships that increase programme reach and impact.
- Adapt and improve training content using evidence, feedback and best practice.
- Manage a schedule of online and face-to-face training delivery.
- Support awareness raising, engagement and referral pathways across the Women's Pathway programme.
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement activities.
