The Role

This is a great time to join GamCare as we are recruiting a Women’s Services Officer specifically to address women’s experience of gambling-related harm. This role will facilitate support spaces for women in order to address the specific needs and challenges experienced by women experiencing gambling harm across the UK. The role is part of a wider programme to support women (Women’s Pathway) which works with a diverse range of organisations and groups, and with women directly, to raise awareness of gambling harm, enhance their knowledge and skills on women’s experience of gambling-related harms, and contributes to ensuring women receive the right support at the right time.

The Women’s Support Officer will facilitate the support spaces through online and face to face delivery, collaborating closely with the colleagues across the programme where necessary.

About You

As the successful candidate, you and your colleagues will deliver the Way Forward peer support sessions, ensuring it meets the needs of the women attending the sessions.
